Summer golf vacations are best planned well in advance. You don’t want to wait too long to book a trip because the best deals go fast. It’s also important to plan early so that you can be sure to get a tee-time at the courses you most want to play.

For those planning a summer golf vacation, here are three of our favorite resorts that you should consider:

Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club near Tampa is one of the nicest golf resorts in Florida. It has four championship courses, including the Copperhead Course, which hosts a PGA Tour event each March. The resort also has six pools and an award-winning spa. Rates start at just $189 per night, which makes it one of the best values among all Florida golf resorts.

It is one of the best times of the year to be a golfer in the U.S. The weather is nice, the clubs are out, and you can get your swing back in shape. But where should you go on your summer golf vacation?

We have found three resorts across the country that have great deals this summer, including a resort in North Carolina that has an all-inclusive package for just $50 per person per day!

But first let’s find out what makes a great summer golf resort. There are two things to consider: The price and the amenities. You want to find a resort that has great courses and amenities but at a reasonable cost. So let’s compare some of the best places to play this summer:

Summer is almost here, and that means it’s time to schedule your golf vacation. There are a lot of great deals this summer, but these three resorts offer the best value for the money.

Golfers will love the warm weather and ocean breezes in Hawaii. The Kapalua Resort on Maui offers two world-class courses, the Bay Course and the Plantation Course, both designed by Arnold Palmer. This year’s summer special includes oceanview lodging, breakfast and lunch in the clubhouse, and one round of golf each day for $299 per night.

Arizona is another popular destination for golfers. The Boulders Resort in Carefree has two championship courses: the North course and the South course. Both were designed by Jay Morrish but have distinctly different styles. Stay at the resort or choose from one of several nearby resorts or hotels under $100 per night. Green fees start at $85, including cart and range balls.

The third great deal this summer is at Pebble Beach on California’s Monterey Peninsula. The oceanside courses here are among the most beautiful in the world and very challenging, so they’re not for beginners. But intermediate players will find them a great test of their skills. Stay at Casa Palmero at Pebble Beach

This summer, course it up with a golf vacation at one of these top spots.

1. The Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a perfect place for golfers and non-golfers alike to relax, play and enjoy the beautiful Sonoran Desert. The properties spa has been named one of the top 50 spas in the world by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine and the restaurants are known for their innovative cuisine. What more could you ask for?

2. Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, California. Of course, you can always stay closer to home and hit the links at one of LA’s many courses. Many courses are open to the public, but if you want to feel like an A-lister, book a tee time at the Hotel Bel-Air’s private course where celebrity sightings are common!

3. The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. Whether you want to play championship courses or just have fun on a few holes, this resort has something for everyone. For those who want to learn how to play or improve their game, there are lessons available from the resorts PGA professionals.

If you’re looking for a great way to spend your summer vacation, and enjoy golf, then look no further than the following resorts. The views are breathtaking, the golf courses are challenging, and there is a variety of activities for the non-golfers in your group as well.

The Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon is one of the most famous and popular spots in the country. It’s located right on the Pacific Ocean, with beautiful views and gorgeous weather all summer long. The resort has four championship courses, including Pacific Dunes and Bandon Trails. It’s hard to choose which golf course is best, because they’re all so great. And if you want even more of a challenge – or if you want to save some money – there are several other courses within a short drive of Bandon Dunes. There are plenty of activities for non-golfers at the resort as well, like spa treatments or shopping at the pro shop!

If you can’t get enough of the beach during your summer vacation, then check out Tetherow Resort in Bend, Oregon. Located just minutes from downtown Bend and Mt. Bachelor ski area, this spot offers scenic views of both forests and desert terrain. The 18-hole championship golf course is challenging

Sun Valley, Idaho

This was already a phenomenal deal: a luxury resort in the mountains with a great golf course, and the greens fees were just $45. But now they’ve lowered that to $39! If you want to play golf in the mountains this summer, Sun Valley is the place to be.

Red Mountain Ranch, St. George, Utah

This is another great mountain course (that’s why I’m grouping them together). It’s on the edge of a national park and has spectacular scenery. And now they’re letting you play for $35! If you’re looking for an affordable mountain retreat this summer, this is it.

TPC at Summerlin, Las Vegas

Okay, so it’s not in the mountains. But if you’re looking for warm weather and great golf for under $50, this is your place. With the temperature already over 100 degrees there, you can count on good sunbathing weather too!
