We are open from 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week. We have over 20 power tees and 10 outdoor nets with a fleet of Srixon range balls. The nets are designed so that you can hit full shots, chips, pitches and even bunker shots as our nets hold the sand. One of our key features is that we have four indoor bays, two of which are heated power tees.
Our aim is to create the most welcoming environment possible. At Sub70 we want you to feel comfortable enjoying your golf, but also feel at home when you are in our bar/cafe area. We want to offer golfers a place where they can practice properly and have fun at the same time. We have a range of services available for every level of golfer from PGA Professionals who will be happy to give you lessons and help you improve your game, to free fitting sessions with some of the biggest brands in golf such as Callaway, Ping and Mizuno.

We’re also Newcastle’s only indoor golf range, which means we’re open whatever the weather. We have 9 bays with power tees, and can accommodate left-handed players in all but one bay (bay seven is right handed only). If you’re new to golf, we can show you how it’s done and lend you some clubs; or if you want to work on your short game, there are dedicated chipping, pitching and putting greens.
