Pinecrest Golf was founded in 1892 by a group of professionals from the nearby Pinecrest Club. The club was originally located on the west bank of the Hudson River in what is now Upper Manhattan, near the site of today’s Grand Central Terminal. The club moved to its current location in 1930, after a major fire destroyed the original clubhouse.
Today, Pinecrest Golf is one of the premier private clubs in the New York area with many members and guests from around the world.
