Hello and welcome to Balboa Golf Course’s blog. We are excited to share with you the latest news and updates about the renovation of our wonderful golf course.

Looking for a nice place to play golf in San Francisco? Look no further! Come on down to our newly renovated golf course. Newly renovated, we have improved all the greens and fairways as well as having installed a new irrigation system and sand traps. Golfers of all levels will enjoy this par 72 course with its rolling hills, mature trees, and beautiful bay views.

We have recently completed a renovation of the Balboa Golf Course. Our course is one of four 18-hole courses located at Balboa Park. The course has been updated with changes to the greens and fairways as well as construction of new amenities like restroom facilities, a driving range, and a clubhouse.

We have created this blog to keep you up-to-date on the latest developments. This blog will also serve as an information hub for golfers interested in joining our competitive weekly golf tournament. Our next event will take place on September 21st at 8:00 AM PST.

Balboa golf course was a public course in San Diego that was recently renovated. This blog will provide a detailed description of the renovation project, but it will also be used to describe events and news related to the course going forward.

The renovation project took place over a period of six years and cost over 13 million dollars. The renovation included new bunkers and sand, trees, irrigation, cart paths, rough, fairways and tee boxes.

We are excited to announce the launch of our newly renovated golf course. After months of planning and hard work, Balboa Golf Course is officially open with a new and improved look.

The new course includes a beautiful, brand-new driving range that covers over 600 yards and features a combination of grass and artificial turf surfaces. The driving range also has a sand bunker; target greens; and three chipping greens with bunkers, which simulate all yardages from 100 yards out to 50 yards in.

We have also added a brand-new practice putting green that features Paspalum Platinum Pure Distinction grass, making it one of the most advanced putting greens in the area.

Our newly renovated golf course is located at 2221 Morley Field Drive and is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to sunset. We hope you’ll take advantage of this amazing facility!

This golf course was renovated in the year of 2012. We have a new superintendent that has many years of experience on how to take care of a course. If you are interested in taking a tour of our facility please contact us. We are more than happy to have you explore our newly renovated practice facility, pro shop, and all 18 holes. Please note that we do not allow any food or drink on the golf course so bring plenty of water for your golf round!

Our newly renovated facilities include:

– New practice facility for chipping and pitching distances up to 100 yards away from tee box area

Since opening in 1925, Balboa Golf Course has been a beloved city institution for San Franciscans of all ages and backgrounds. We are thrilled to announce that the golf course will be completely renovated in the summer of 2015. This project will return Balboa Golf Course to its original design by Willie Watson and Sam Whiting and restore the character of this historic course set within a beautiful urban forest.

The renovations scheduled for 2015 will include:

All new greens with improved drainage and irrigation capabilities

Re-designed bunkers with new sand

New pathways and landscaping improvements

Updated bridges to improve accessibility

A new practice putting green next to the first tee

The renovation is scheduled to begin in June 2015 and take approximately 8 months. The golf course will remain open during construction.

The Balboa Golf Course, located in the heart of San Francisco, is one of the most scenic and exciting golf experiences in Northern California. The course, with its breathtaking views and challenging holes, has been home to several national championships. In order to remain a championship venue the course has recently undergone a $6 million dollar renovation including an all new irrigation system, redesigned bunkers and tees, improved drainage, new trees and cart paths, as well as a new clubhouse and restaurant.

Balboa Golf Course is owned by the City of San Francisco and operated by American Golf Corporation. The newly renovated course officially opened on March 10th, 2005.
