LINKS GOLF COURSE in County X is a fine blend of old and new. Set in the rolling countryside, it has been designed to suit both the expert golfer and the novice.
The clubhouse, which is situated on a hill overlooking the first tee and 18th green, has panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and coast. It hosts a well-stocked bar and restaurant with an excellent menu, which can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the views from the terrace.
The course itself is challenging but very rewarding and measures 6,500 yards from the yellow tees with par 70/72. The signature hole is the par 3 fifth, which has a beautiful view of the coastline.
Links Golf Course in County X is a terrific course that one can play multiple times and not get tired of. The course has enough variety that it keeps the golfer interested, but it is also easy enough to play well even if you are a novice.
The customer service at Links is top-notch. We played there with a tournament consisting of over 100 people and the staff was able to handle the large group pretty well. The clubhouse has full amenities, including a restaurant and bar. There is also a driving range where you can hit balls before or after your round for no extra charge. The course also offers camping on site for anyone who wishes to spend their entire weekend at Links Golf Course (and why wouldn’t you want to?).
Despite being located in County X, Links Golf Course is easily accessible from both Counties Y and Z. County Y is only 10 miles away while County Z is only 20 miles away. If you happen to be coming from out of town, this means that it’s an easy day trip to get over to Links Golf Course and play a round or two of golf. You can also make a vacation out of it by staying right on site at the campground!

The Links Golf Course in County X is an immaculately kept course in a beautiful setting overlooking the coast. The only problem with the Links course is that it is closed from November to late March, because of the storms that often hit the coast during this time.
The Links course has experienced a number of changes over recent years. These changes are largely due to design and planning by a new course manager, Mr. Y, who took up his position at the club two years ago. In addition, four new members have joined the committee responsible for managing the club, and they have played an active role in making changes to the club’s rules and policies.
However, these changes have caused problems for many members of staff and for some local residents. For example, some members of staff are unhappy about their new uniforms: three staff have resigned since Mr. Y introduced them. One member of staff has complained that he was unfairly dismissed; this complaint is currently under investigation by County X Employment Tribunal Services (CXETS). The local authority’s planning department has received complaints from two local residents; one complains that noise levels are now excessive, while the other complains that flooding caused by drainage work has ruined her flower garden.

The course dates from the early years of the twentieth century, when Irish golf was still at a relatively primitive stage. In those days courses were often only nine holes in length; they were often situated in areas where domestic animals roamed freely; and it was not unusual to encounter such hazards as rabbit burrows and old tin cans full of water.
By contrast, the original links course was an eighteen-hole layout, free from cattle or other livestock, and carefully maintained by workers paid by subscription from members’ fees. Over the years it has expanded to become one of Ireland’s largest and most complex courses; but although many new holes have been added, care has been taken to ensure that none detracts from the character of what remains essentially a traditional links layout.
