The tee boxes are level, but in a few places they are a bit worn down. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were fast and true. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places to park your car or RV. They have a small putting green and driving range for practice. They also have an 18-hole miniature golf course for the kids.

There’s plenty to see and do in the area if you have time before or after your round of golf. There’s lots of shopping in the area and some great restaurants near by as well as many wineries to visit if you’re so inclined!

The challenge is broken down by hole with different obstacles in each hole. Some holes are easier than others, but the course is designed to be fair for everyone. There are no hidden traps or hazards to distract you from your game.
The greens are challenging because they are surrounded by sand bunkers and grass areas that look inviting but can result in a bad shot if you land on them. It’s not uncommon to see shots hit into the lake or go out of bounds on this course, so it pays to play safe when possible! A nice feature at this golf course is that there are two sets of tees so beginners don’t feel intimidated by their lack of experience!

The front nine of Hidden Valley Golf Course is basically flat and open. The back nine is a little more interesting with some small hills and elevation changes to navigate. A creek runs through the course and comes into play on a few holes, but don’t let that intimidate you. This isn’t Torrey Pines.

You really can’t beat the value here: green fees are only $22 during the week, $25 on weekends. Cart rental is $15 per player and pull carts are also available for rent at only $5 per person.
