Golf This Weekend? Here’s 3 Ways to Get Started

This is a great time of year to get your friends, family and co-workers in the game of golf. In order to do this, here are 3 tips to get you started:

1) Make sure your clubs are in good shape for the season. It’s always good to have them cleaned and checked for any broken shafts or grips that need replaced.

2) Get out and play. If you can’t play a full round, play 9 holes or even if you don’t feel up to playing go out and hit balls at the range. Whatever you do make sure you still get out and swing the club some during the off season so you don’t lose any momentum you gained last season.

3) Get your friends, family or co-workers involved! If you haven’t played before then find a friend who has and ask them to bring you along. Don’t be afraid to get out there and try it!

It’s time to plan for the weekend. How about hitting the golf course? A round of golf can be a great way to spend the day with friends and family. And it’s a great way to get in some exercise, too. Read on for a few tips on how to enjoy 18 holes this weekend.

There are also many executive-length courses designed specifically for beginner golfers—so if you’re unsure about how long it will take you to play 18 holes, these can be a great option.
