What Every Beginner Golfer Should Know

The golf swing is the most important aspect of the game. A golfer can have all the talent in the world, but if his or her swing isn’t right it will be hard to play at a high level. To keep your golf game on the right path it is always a good idea to check your alignment. At every shot, check that you are aligned correctly before hitting the ball. Even if you are not sure of your aim, double-checking your alignment will put you in a better position to hit the ball where you want it to go. The same goes for putting.

The first thing to do when checking your alignment is to stand behind the ball and look at where you want the ball to go. Mark this spot with a tee or make a mental note of it. Then walk into place, set up and assume your posture at address. Once you have done this, step back behind the ball again and make sure that your feet are in line with the target and that they are parallel to one another. If they are not parallel then you need to adjust them until they are.

After checking your feet, take one more glance at the target and make sure that your shoulders are square aimed towards it as well (the left shoulder for right handed golfers). If they are not square then you need to rotate them until they are pointing directly at your target. Following this procedure will help ensure that when you swing through the ball that it will be struck straight down its

Riding in a golf cart is one of the most fun parts of golf, but there are many things you should know before you head out.

For starters, always remember to buckle up and watch over your kids. Your little ones may be begging for a chance to drive, but let them know that it’s not an option. Kids must stay seated at all times and have their seatbelts on when riding in carts.

Also, if you’re going to be carrying an extra passenger, make sure that your cart is equipped with a seatbelt. You can order custom seatbelts online or get them at any retail store that sells golf equipment.

You will also want to keep your speed under control as carts can go very fast on hills and turns. If you’re riding alone, don’t leave your cart unattended and make sure the motor is off when not in use.

Finally, beware of sharp rocks and other obstacles in the road! Riding in a golf cart can be a great experience if you follow these tips!
