Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy are just a couple of the names that come to mind when you think of Nike golf. Their clubs have long been known for performance and style, but what’s in store for their 2018 line? We have a few details on the new products coming out this summer to help you get ready.
What we know so far
Nike has been quiet about the specifics of their new line, but there are a few details we’ve been able to confirm. For starters, we know that the Vapor Flex driver will replace the popular Vapor Fly driver for low handicappers. The Vapor Flex is made with a split internal weighting system that gives it high launch capabilities and low spin rates. These features are sure to make it a favorite among more skilled players.
We also know that Nike will be releasing new fairway woods and hybrids in June. Both sets feature carbon fiber crowns for increased distance on every shot. Nike’s New Line of Golf Clubs Coming June 2018
Nike is releasing a new line of golf clubs and apparel, which you’ll be able to purchase in June 2018.
Nike is bringing back its popular Vapor line of golf clubs, adding more distance and accuracy to its drivers. There will also be new irons, wedges, and putters from Nike as well as a full line of apparel for men and women.

Remember that story about Tiger Woods and Nike? They were supposed to be done making golf clubs, but we’re hearing rumors that Nike has a new line of golf clubs coming in June 2018. The rumor mill is saying it’ll be the best line ever from the brand — which, if you know anything about how good their last line was, is saying a lot.
Backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, it’s not surprising that Nike’s new line of clubs will be the best ever. The company is notorious for doing things right when they put their mind to it, so we’re expecting nothing short of top-notch equipment from them next time around. We don’t have much information yet on the new clubs or if they will include new drivers, irons or wedges — but as soon as we find out more, you can bet we’ll update this article with everything we know!

The new Vapor Fly Pro irons have been designed with feedback from some of the best players in the world. They feature a thinner face and are more compact than the current Vapor Fly Pro irons. There is also a vibration dampening system around the face insert and across the back of the club head, which creates a softer feel than what you get with most forged irons on the market today.

Nike Golf may not be as well-known to golfers as some of its competitors, but the Oregon-based brand has a loyal following. And that following could get even larger with the brand’s new line of golf clubs set to release in June.
The major component of Nike’s new line is a family of drivers, woods and irons that will all be available in two different tiers — VR and Covert. The VR tier represents Nike’s tour-level products, while Covert is geared toward the amateur golfer. The VR line includes drivers, fairway woods and irons, while the Covert line includes drivers and fairway woods.
The clubs are all made of carbon fiber, which allows Nike to inject weight into specific areas to help boost performance. The biggest improvement in the new line comes in the driver category, where the driver face is now adjustable to help golfers change the club’s loft and lie angle. The VR driver will have four settings, while the Covert driver has three.

New Nike clubs will be available on June 1, 2018. The new line includes the Vapor Speed and Flex Speed drivers, Vapor Fly and Flex Fairway woods, Vapor Pro and Flex hybrids, Vapor Fly and Flex Irons, Pro Combo irons, wedges, a method putter, and a golf ball.
Nike says the new Vapor Speed driver is its fastest driver ever with a “lightweight crown that helps move the center of gravity low and forward” while the Flex Speed driver has an adjustable hosel and a “flexible channel behind the face that helps create more ball speed.”
The Vapor Fly woods and hybrids feature an adjustable hosel as well as flybeams (internal ribs) and a compression channel that help stiffen the clubhead for more ball speed. The Flex woods and hybrids are designed to offer more forgiveness with “hot faces,” according to Nike.
The full set of Vapor Fly irons contains seven clubs (4-SW) with progressive lengths and lofts from long irons to short irons. Nike says this progression promotes faster ball speeds in long irons for more distance while maintaining control in short irons for accuracy.
