This might not be practical for all of us, but if you are serious about wanting to improve your football game, then playing golf will help you with your footwork and your grip when kicking a football.

Golf is a game that takes practice to perfect. I’m sure many of you have heard this before. Football is no different. Whether you are a quarterback, running back or offensive lineman practicing is essential to the success of your game. Golf can help you become more accurate and confident in your football play.

Let’s take a look at how accuracy in golf can translate over to the gridiron. A wide receiver needs to be able to catch the ball with their hands and not let it get into their body. This will prevent fumbles and interceptions from happening.

Golf teaches us that confidence in our swings will result in better shots and lower scores. Confidence is also key when playing football. If you are not confident in yourself as a player then you won’t be as successful on the field as possible.
